सामाजिक महत्व के कार्यों का भी आंतरिक मूल्यांकन करें विश्वविद्यालय : राज्यपाल
राज्यपाल श्रीमती आनंदीबेन पटेल ने आज राजभवन में आयोजित राष्ट्रीय मूल्यांकन एवं प्रत्यायन परिषद (नैक) की हाई ग्रेडिंग प्राप्त करने के लिये रानी दुर्गावती विश्वविद्यालय, जबलपुर और देवी अहिल्या विश्वविद्यालय, इंदौर द्वारा किये जा रहे कार्यों की समीक्षा की। राज्यपाल ने निर्देश दिये कि नैक के मापदण्ड के अनुसार कार्य सुनिश्चित करें। सामाजिक महत्व के कार्यों का भी आंतरिक मूल्यांकन किया जाये।
राज्यपाल श्रीमती पटेल ने कहा कि विद्यार्थियों को सामाजिक सरोकारों से जोड़ने का प्रयास करें। शैक्षणिक गुणवत्ता को समय की माँग के अनुरूप बनायें। पाठ्यक्रमों में रोजगार-मूलक कम्प्यूटर कोर्स शामिल करें। विद्यार्थियों को तनाव से मुक्त करने के लिये स्ट्रेस मैनेजमेंट कोर्स को प्रभावी बनाने की दिशा में पहल की जाये।
बैठक में दोनों विश्वविद्यालयों द्वारा प्रेजेंटेशन के माध्यम से तैयारियों का प्रस्तुतीकरण किया गया। इस मौके पर अपर मुख्य सचिव उच्च शिक्षा सुश्री सलीना सिंह, राज्यपाल के सचिव श्री डी.डी. अग्रवाल, आयुक्त उच्च शिक्षा श्री राघवेन्द्र सिंह, दोनों विश्वविद्यालयों के कुलपति और बनारस हिन्दू विश्वविद्यालय के डॉ. आलोक राय उपस्थित थे।

Uttar Pradesh, April 25, 2019: Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL) has announced the expansion of ProjectEMBED (Elimination of Mosquito Borne Endemic Diseases) to Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh. Theproject will cover 200 villages in the Bastar and Kondagaon districts of Chhattisgarh, and 200 villages in the Bareily and Badaun districts of Uttar Pradesh. This expansion will impact 1,50,000 people at risk frommalaria. GCPL will work closely with the Ministry of Health in these two states for further scale-up in the years ahead.
On April 25, 2017, World Malaria Day, GCPL committed to support a malaria free India by 2030 and commissioned Project EMBED, which aims to reduce morbidity and mortality caused by vector borne diseases. The projectfocuses on behaviour change campaigns, imparting education and conducting awareness activities for communities at the bottom of the pyramid to be empowered to take charge of their own protection. In its first phase, EMBED covered 207 villages across 2 districts, Mandla and Dindori, in Madhya Pradesh, a state with one of the highest burdens of malaria in India. Within a year, there was a 2% increase in testing for malaria, 11% increase in use of mosquito repellents or bed nets, and 80% of the villages reported a reduced malaria burden.
In its second phase, the project was extended to 7 additional districts, covering 1,300 villages and 2,00,000 households across Jhabua, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Sidhi, Singrauli, Alirajpur and Balaghat with high malaria burdens. By March 2019, 81% of the villages reported zero cases of malaria and there was a 21% increase in the use of mosquito repellents or bed nets.
EMBED has been developed in line with the National Framework for Malaria Elimination (NFME) 2016-2030, which outlines India's agenda to eliminate the disease by 2030. The project also collaborates with the government on environment management and vector control activities as part of Swachh Bharat. In the last couple of years, EMBED has reached 10,16,453 people at high-risk for malaria.

New Delhi, April, 2019: The Indian School of Hospitality (ISH), a hospitality college that has set out to transform the educational landscape within the country, has announced the signing of an agreement with Singapore based At-SunriceGlobalChef Academy, Asia's premier culinary institute. This is the second international tie-up for hotelier-entrepreneur and industry leader, Dilip Puri's higher education institute, with the school also holding the official academic accreditation of world leaders in hospitality education Écolehôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland. This is the first academic partnership At-SunriceGlobalChef Academy has entered into within the Indian market.
At-SunriceGlobalChef Academy is an EduTrust certified institution offering open access pathways into nationally-recognised diplomas, with the vision to advance foodpreneurship, culinary arts and the F&B profession with integrity and meaning. Founded in 2001, the institute has been cultivating global chefs and F&B professionals in an experiential environment of culinary authenticity, best-fit apprenticeship and innovation for the last two decades. This agreement envisages a collaboration which will see the two institutes working together to bring new standards of excellency to culinary education within the country and bring more awareness towards the potential of pursuing careers in the culinary world. Through this collaboration, the two schools will engage in student exchange programs, knowledge transfer, articulation, internship and placement opportunities, and guest faculty exchange for special masterclasses and workshops. In addition to this, the second phase of the partnership will see a collaboration between the two institutes on a cross-disciplinary start up lab for food entrepreneurs as well as a digital learning platform for culinary training.
The first step of this collaboration is an 18-month programme, of which students will spend the first 9 months within the Indian School of Hospitality, before completing the rest of their studies in At-Sunrice along with 6 months of overseas industrial attachment within Singapore itself, earning a Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) upon graduation. They will then further have the opportunity to continue their studies at partner universities in Hong Kong, Australia, the United Kingdom and America and obtain a degree qualification.
Renowned as Singapore's leading culinary arts institute, students of At-Sunrice learn from international and experienced faculty and benefit from some of Asia's most prestigious placements. Students of the 18 month programme will be learning how to master Asian and Western cuisines under the guidance of At-Sunrice multi-ethnic faculty and will go on to join an alumni and industry network that boast renowned culinary entrepreneurs and Michelin Star studded chefs.

“हमारे फेफड़ों को 50 लीटर वायु की जरुरत मगर ले कितनी रहे?"
खुद की जीवन शक्ति को नियमित करना, अपने प्राणों को नया आयाम देना ही प्राणायाम है। यह कई प्रकार के होते हैं और प्रत्येक प्राणायाम का अपना एक निश्चित कार्यक्षेत्र होता है, लेकिन सभी प्रकार के प्राणायामों का आधार गहरे लम्बे श्वास प्रश्वास से ही जुड़ा होता है। सिर्फ दो मिनट के लिए अपनी आँखों को बंद कर, अपनी सांसों पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने से ही हम मानसिक तनाव से मुक्ति का अहसास करने लगते हैं। दरअसल जब हम साधारण श्वास लेते हैं तब हमारी सांस केवल हृदय से कण्ठ तक ही आती जाती है, लेकिन जब हम गहरी लंबी सांस लेते हैं तो हमारे पूरे फेफड़े वायु से भर जाते हैं, छाती फूल जाती है और जब श्वास छोड़ते हैं तो फेफड़ों व छाती का संकोचन होता है। फेफड़ों का यह संकोचन क्या और क्यों होता है इसे समझना भी आवश्यक है।
दरअसल हमारे शरीर में छाती के दायी तथा बायीं ओर दो फेफड़े है और इनके बीच हमारा इदय आता है यानी हमारा दिल। हमारे फेफड़ों में 75 करोड़ कोशिकाएं हैं और इनके बीच खाली स्थान होता हैं। जब हम साधारण श्वास लेते व छोड़ते है तो केवल एक तिहाई कोशिकाएं ही प्रभावित होती है, शेष दो तिहाई निष्क्रिय ही पड़ी रहती हैं।
साधारण श्वास लेते समय हम एक मिनट में 18 सांस भरते-छोड़ते हैं और प्रत्येक सांस में आधा लीटर वायु अन्दर भरते हैं, यानी एक मिनट में नौ लीटर वायु हमारे भीतर जाती है। जब हम चलते हैं, तो हमारी वायु भरने की क्षमता 16 लीटर हो जाती हैतेज चलते समय 27 लीटर प्रति मिनट और दौड़ते समय 45 लीटर तक हवा हमारे अंदर जाती है। गहरे लम्बे श्वास भरते हुए भी हम 45 से 50 लीटर वायु ग्रहण करते हैं। इसीलिए प्राणायाम करते समय हमारी फेफड़ो की वायु ग्रहण क्षमता बहुत अधिक होती है और हम अधिक से अधिक आक्सीजन भी ग्रहण करते हैं। साधारण श्वास प्रश्वास की प्रक्रिया में न तो आक्सीजन पूरे फेफड़ों में पहुंचती है और न ही पूरी कार्बन डायऑक्सायड बाहर निकलती है। इसलिए हमें प्राणायाम को अपनी आदत का हिस्सा बना लेना चाहिए क्योंकि प्राणायाम करते वक्त हम गहरी लम्बी सांसें भरते हैं और ज्यादा ऑक्सीजन ग्रहण कर पाते हैं।

mjunction forays into real estate sector with UP AwasVikasParishad
Kolkata, April 17, 2019: For the first time, mjunction services limited, India's largest B2B e-commerce company, conducted e-auctions in the housing and real estate sector, for the Uttar Pradesh AwasVikasParishad (UPAVP).
For the UPAVP, which is also known as the Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Board, this helped bring in transparency and aided in discovery of market-determined price for its various properties. UPAVP was following an offline process till now. mjunction'scustomised e-auction platform makes it convenient for potential buyers, by getting them direct access to the UPAVP properties, besides being assured of market-driven price discovery.
Commercial plots for group housing, schools, nursing homes and hospitals were among those up for e-auction across six zones of the UPAVP - Lucknow, Meerut, Bareily, Agra, Varanasi and Kanpur. A total of 17 plots have been sold from these zones.

BJP National President Shri Amit Shah addresses public meeting in Keonjhar, Odisha
- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah has asked the people of Odisha to elect a chief minister who could speak to them in their own language and not someone who communicates through bureaucrats in English, launching a direct attack on current CM Naveen Patnaik, who cannot speak his native Odiya language.
- “People of the state need to overthrow the current dispensation and ensure a second term for Modi Ji as PM. Naveen Babu has not been even able to learn Odia even after ruling here for 19 years. These English people will not work here. I have come to appeal to elect a CM who can talk to you in your language, can understand your sorrows,” Shah said.
- The BJP President said that the time for change overthrow the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD government has come, which has turned out to be even worse than the corrupt Congress regime that ruled earlier in Odisha.
- Shah said that in the Naveen Babu government bureaucrats are running the show in Odisha, and only a leadership who has its ears to the ground can understand the needs and aspirations of the people. He said that bureaucrats have become kings and are the ones who are actually ruling the state because the chief minister cannot speak the native language and doesn’t want to connect with the local people.
- He promised that if the BJP was voted to power, a steel plant will be set up in Keonjhar , a tribal-dominated district, and lashed out at the current BJD government for not utilizing central funds that were meant for the benefit of tribals.
- “Under District Mineral Fund, Rs 1600 crore has been allocated to this district. If the BJP is voted to power again, all forest produces will be procured from the tribals at Minimum Support Price and no GST will be levied on tendu leaves,” he said.
- The UPA government gave the state only Rs 80000 crore while in the 14th Finance Commission, the BJP government increased it nearly seven-fold to Rs 5,50,000 crore for the state’s development. “But this was eaten up by the BJD corrupt administration,” he said.
- “In the last five years Modi govt. gave so much money for Odisha but instead of reaching the poor, women and downtrodden Naveen Babu’s bureaucracy ate it up. There is no drinking water, no teachers in schools, no employment for the youth,” he lamented.
- Hailing the youth of Odisha who work outside the state he said they have played a big role in development of other states. “A BJP govt. will build an Odisha where the youth can stay in the state itself along with their families by finding employment in their own districts, he said.
- Expressing confidence of Modi Ji coming back to power Shri Amit Shah said that wherever he goes he finds that people seem to have made up their minds to vote for BJP. “I have come here after travelling all over the country. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Odisha to Gujarat, I hear the chant of Modi Modi. People have already decided that the next PM will be Modi Ji.”
- Slamming the opposition Congress, Shah said that Rahul Baba's party ruled the country for 70 years but could not eradicate poverty. ”They only kept on giving slogans but didn’t eradicate poverty. The poor kept on becoming poorer.”
- Shah said the immediate response against Pakistan based terrorists has earned new respect for India and its people. “After Uri and Pulwama attacks Indian forces went deep inside Pakistan and killed terrorists and destroyed their bases. And Rahul Gandhi and Opposition are saying that we should have talked first with the terrorists.”
- Praising the Modi government for its universal health scheme he said that the Ayushman Bharat scheme has raised the level of health services for 50 crore of the Indian population and given them access to free health facilities including hospitalization.
- Shah exhorted the gathering to help the BJP win the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and bring Modi Ji back to power. “Only BJP can do development of Odisha, the country and its people. After a long time we have got such a dedicated person as PM, who works long hours each day for the development of the nation. Please elect BJP from most LS seats and bring back Modi govt. once again,” he said.

India, April , 2019: Russian State Corporation Rostec is implementing the project of building the country’s first transport aircraft - Il-112V. The components and assemblies of the new plane, built by Rostec’s organizations, successfully performed during the first flight of the plane. The first prototype of Il-112V, built by United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), took to the air in Voronezh on March 30.
In the long run Il-112V will replace the aging fleet of An-26 aircraft, providing double the transport efficiency when compared to the older planes. The new aircraft will also become a significant competitor with analogous planes in the global market.
All components of Il-112V are made in Russia. It is equipped with modern TV7-117ST turboprop engines designed and produced by United Engine Corporation (UEC) and has a maximum take-off power output of 3100 hp. These engines are distinguished by their modularity and efficient fuel consumption, having some of the best parameters within its class. In addition, the Radio-Electronic Technologies Concern KRET is implementing an automatic control system and Technodinamika holding company has designed the plane’s landing gear, hydraulics and power supply systems.
“One of the key advantages of Il-112V is the possibility to operate on unpaved runways. The plane can be used in very difficult conditions, such as high-altitude airfields and extremely low temperatures”, pointed out Anatoly Serdyukov, the Director of Rostec’s Aviation Cluster. “The predicted transformation of route networks and aerial transport structures in Asia [including India], China’s increasing efforts to implement the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as increasing air traffic between the countries of Latin America make us confident about the high demand for the Il-112V in both Russia and abroad. In the next 20 years the global demand for this class of aircraft is predicted to be about 450-500 planes.”
The light transport aircraft Il-112V can be used to solve various tasks in the civilian sector. The civilian variant of the plane has been designed to transport a wide range and up to 5 tons of various cargo in commercial use. Cruise speed is 470 km/h and maximum flight range with max load when taking off from an unpaved airfield is 1,200 kilometers.
Rostec continues to carry out its comprehensive program of developing aviation cluster projects in accordance with the Strategy-2025 plan, which aims to develop civil production, improve operational efficiency and reach new international markets until 2025.

आज के दौर में किसानों की हालत सुधारने का दावा तो बहुत होता रहा है, लेकिन वास्तविक धरातल पर खेती के हालात में कोई खास फर्क नहीं पड़ा। लेकिन इधर खेती को मुनाफे का सौदा बनाने को लेकर शुरू हुए स्टार्ट-अप की वजह से कृषि की तस्वीर बदल रही है, और किसानों ने स्टार्ट-अप के परामर्श और सहयोग से सरकारी दावे को हकीकत में बदलते हुए लागत कम, उपज में बढ़त' की सोच को संभव कर दिखाया है। ऐसे ही एक किसान हैं विष्णुजी, जिन्होंने खेती को न सिर्फ अपने जीवन के लिए बल्कि आने वाली पीढ़ी के लिये भी लाभदायक बनाया। लेकिन किसान ऐसा कर कैसे रहे हैं? जवाब मिट्टी में छिपा है। जी हाँ, स्टार्ट-अप के सहयोग से खेत की उर्वरा शक्ति बढ़ाई जाती है, जिससे खेत फसल-दर-फसल, और पीढ़ी-दर-पीढ़ी उपजाऊ बने रहते हैं। इंदौर जिले के बिरगोदा गाँव के किसान विष्णु ठाकुर भी इसी राह पर चले और उन्होंने अपनी खेती को लाभ का सौदा बना लिया। तो आइए देखते हैं कि अपनी खेती को लाभदायक बनाने के लिए विष्णु जी ने क्या-क्या किया।
जी ने क्या-क्या किया। कृषि को लाभदायक बनाने का सपना देखने वाले किसानों में से एक, विष्णु जी ने स्थितियों से समझौता करने के बजाय, उससे मुकाबला करने की ठानी। आज खुशहाल जीवन जी रहे विष्णु जी को यह बात तो बिल्कुल समझ में आ गई थी कि आज के तकनीकी दौर में पूरी तरह से परंपरागत खेती पर निर्भर रहना कहीं से भी समझदारी का काम नहीं है। जीवन के हर क्षेत्र में टेक्नोलॉजी के बढ़ते हस्तक्षेप उनको साफ दिख रहे थे। उन्होंने भी कृषि टेक्नोलॉजी ग्रामोफोन का सहारा लिया, और अपनी 20 बीघा जमीन में गेहूं की खेती की और 41.20 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि दर्ज की। इस तरह उन्होंने 658,000 रुपये का शुद्ध लाभ कमाया, जो बिना तकनीकी सहायता के उसी जमीन पर की गई खेती से 192,000 रुपये अधिक है। इसमें दिलचस्प बात यह रही कि तकनीकी सहायता से खेती करने में लागत भी कम आई, और उपज में काफी बढ़ोतरी हुई। पहले जो लागत 207 रुपये प्रति क्विंटल थी, वह घटकर 172 रुपये प्रति क्विंटल हो गई। गेहूँ की खेती में मिली सफलता से प्रेरित होकर विष्णुजी ने डॉलर चने, सोयाबीन, लहसुन की खेती में भी यही प्रक्रिया अपनाई, और लाभ में क्रमशरू 65.52 प्रतिशत, 94.87 प्रतिशत, 105.56 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि दर्ज की।
सवाल उठता है कि कृषि संकट के इस दौर में विष्णुजी ने किस प्रक्रिया को अपनाते हुए यह लाभ हासिल किया। विष्णुजी बताते हैं कि “मैंने कृषि आधारित स्टार्ट-अप, ग्रामोफोन द्वारा दी गई रिसर्च आधारित सलाह का पालन करना शुरू किया। जहां मुझे सबसे पहले अच्छी उपज के लिए शुध्द प्रमाणित बीज उगाने की सलाह दी गई. खेतों की बुआई से पहले व बाद, दोनों स्थितियों को बारे में बताया गया. प्रति हेक्टेयर के हिसाब से नाइट्रोजन का इस्तेमाल, फास्फोरस तथा पोटाश का प्रयोग, मशीन न मिलने की स्थिति में उर्वरकों का छिड़काव आदि जैसी जरूरी बातों के बारे में भी विस्तार से बताया गया। सिंचाई के माध्यमों का भी खास ख्याल रखा, पहली सिंचाई मुख्य जड बनते समय, दूसरी सिंचाई गांठ बनते समय, तीसरी सिंचाई बालियां निकलने तथा चौथी सिंचाई दानों में दूध पड़ते समय करने की सलाह मिली और इसी हिसाब से सिंचाई को अंजाम भी दिया। इन्ही सलाहों पर चलते हुए यूरिया उर्वरक की मात्रा में 25 प्रतिशत की कमी की और पानी के साथ इसका मिश्रण (300 ग्राम प्रति बीघा) बनाकर छिड़काव किया। इसके बाद पोटाश का उपयोग किया, जिससे गेहूं की गुणवत्ता में वृद्धि हुई, और दानें मोटे हुए और चमक बढ़ गई। कुल मिलाकर मुझे इस बार गेहूँ का रेट ज्यादा मिला

इंदौर, 7 अप्रैल 2019: इंदौर से प्रवास करते हुए देवास वासियों के बीच पहुंचे महामना आचार्य श्री कुशाग्र नंदी जी महाराज के आत्मीय शिष्य ऊर्जा गुरु अरिहंत ऋषि ने एक कार्यक्रम के दौरान जनता को संबोधित करते हुए जीवन में योग व ध्यान के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने बताया कि योग व ध्यान के माध्यम से उत्पन्न हुई भीतरी ऊर्जा के सही इस्तेमाल से हम कितने भी कठिन लक्ष्य की प्राप्ति कर सकते हैं। राजनीतिक हलचल पर अक्सर टिप्पणी करने वाले ऊर्जा गुरु ने देवास प्रवास के दौरान आगामी लोकसभा चुनावों को लेकर भी जनता से सही दिशा में अपनी ऊर्जा का इस्तेमाल करने का आग्रह किया। ऊर्जा गुरु इन दिनों उज्जैन को आदर्श पवित्र नगरी बनाने की मुहीम में भी जुटे हुए है। वह इंदौर से प्रवास करते हुए देवास और इसके पश्चात इसी आंदोलन को साकार रूप देने के लिए उज्जैन पहुंच रहे हैं। हाल ही में री श्री कमलनाथ से उज्जैन पर जल्द से जल्द सकारात्मक कार्रवाई न किए जाने की स्थिति में आंदोलन छेडने की चेतावनी दी है।
करीब एक माह से अधिक समय तक इंदौर प्रवास पर रहे ऊर्जा गुरु अरिहंत ऋषि ने देवासवासियों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि लोकतंत्र के इस महापर्व में हम सभी अपने वोट को बर्बाद न करते हुए निश्चित तौर पर वोटिंग करें। हम एकजुट होकर इसको उत्सव की तरह मनाएं। लोकतंत्र के अंदर राष्ट्रहित की जीत होनी चाहिए।
उन्होंने कहा कि मतदान करते वक्त याद रखें कि जिस तरह हम बीमार होने पर किसी जाति का डॉक्टर नहीं ढूंढ़ते बल्कि सबसे अच्छा और सर्वश्रेष्ठ डॉ. ढूंढ़ते हैं उसी तरह इस महापर्व में जातिवाद हटा कर श्रेष्ठ और सुंदर भारत का निर्माण करने वाले राष्ट्रहित नेता का चुनाव करें। ऊर्जा ऋषि ने सभी से अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग करने का आह्वान करते हुए जातिवाद को इस लोकतांत्रिक व्यवस्था का सबसे खतरनाक जहर बताया।
