Culture Minister Dr. Vijayalakshmi Sadho has said that the state government will take the initiative to get the Bharat Ratna conferred on renowned playback singer from Madhya Pradesh Late Shri Kishore Kumar. Dr. Sadho stated this on Sunday at Late Kishore Kumar Jayanti Samaroh on the demand of cultural institutions and citizens in Khandwa.
Dr. Sadho visits Late Shri Kishore Kumar's ancestral house
Culture Minister Dr. Sadho visited Late Shri Kumar's ancestral house in Khandwa and signed the visitors' book. Prior to this, she offered floral tribute at Late Shri Kumar's Samadhi. The Minister honoured various talented persons at a programme of a local cultural institute.
