GoMechanic which is now India’s largest network of technology-enabled car service centers, on 7th Dec 2020 announced its expansion into Indore as a part of its Tier II city expansion drive with 10 plus Service Centers across the city. India is home to an estimated 3 crore plus cars with an unorganised after-sales network of over 3 lakh individual independent workshops. The sector is generally marked with major issues that customers face ranging from overcharging to lack of authentic diagnosis along with genuine replacement of parts. GoMechanic addresses these issues by providing car service and repairs at 40% lower prices compared to the company dealerships with no compromise on quality and entirely genuine spare parts directly sourced from the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). In fact, all service centers in the company’s network follow manufacturer prescribed processes while servicing a vehicle.
GoMechanic through its website and mobile application believes in providing value to its customers and for that, it ensures affordable, transparent, and upfront pricing with no hidden charges, professionally trained mechanics, and free pick & drop of the vehicle offering convenience. It aims to become a brand that customers rely on for all their car care worries.
Commenting on the market entry, Kushal Karwa, IIM-A 2012 alumnus & Co-Founder, GoMechanic said, “We are delighted to enter the Indore market which we consider as one of the high potential markets in India for car servicing. Indore has a high density of cars where the owners are paying significantly higher for their servicing and accidental repairs. So, our value proposition is sure to find quick and greater acceptance in this market.” “With our 360-degree ecosystem of workshops, spares shops and warehouses, we plan to consistently expand the portfolio of services we provide to the people of Indore ”
