|Monitor strictly narcotics activities and take strict action|
Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Shri V. L. Kanta Rao today reviewed the preparations for Lok Sabha Elections in Mandsaur district headquarters and issued instructions for strict monitoring and stringent action in narcotics related activities. Shri Rao also held a discussion with the representatives of recognized political parties.
CEO Shri Rao said that in view of the summer season, tents of 30 × 60 ft. instead of 15 × 15 ft. should be put up for the voters at the polling booths. Organize special training for employees and staff involved in webcasting work. In case of failure of GPS systems in election vehicles, keep contact on telephone. Ensure tight security in critical polling stations. Shri Rao directed that strict adherence to the prohibitory rules applicable 72 and 48 hours before the voting should be followed strictly.
On this occasion, Joint Chief Electoral Officer Shri Arun Kumar Tomar, IG Police (Election) Shri Yogesh Choudhary, Excise Commissioner Shri Rajneesh Shrivastav and IG Narcotics Wing Shri G.G. Pandey was also present.
